Yes — scanning, watchlists, alerts, radar, the Lab and paper trading are free with no account needed. Live trading carries a 1% commission on sells only (see the next question); everything else stays free either way.
A 1% commission on live sells — never on paper trades, and never on buys. It's taken automatically as part of the sell through Jupiter, the same aggregator Rugsnitch already routes swaps through, so there's no extra step. Scanning, watchlists, radar and everything else has no fee at all.

Not to scan — scanning only reads public blockchain and market data, and the buy links open your usual trading terminal. In-app trading is optional and off by default: it uses a separate trading wallet created on your PC (key encrypted by your system keychain or a password). Keep only what you trade with in it, never your main savings.
